L'Association Alliance de Protection du Patrimoine Asiatique a missionné six photographes internationaux pour éditer un ouvrage sur les dix lieux emblématiques où le Bouddha a séjourné depuis Lumbini au Népal où est né, en passant par le Bihar en Inde où il atteint l'illumination à Bodh-Gaya, jusqu'à Sarnath et Kushinagar en Uttar Pradesh où il a prodigué ses premiers enseignements et où il a atteint son paranirvana. Ces sites, dont 3 sont classés à l'UNESCO, comptent parmi les plus symboliques  et les plus vénérées par la communauté bouddhiste. J'ai passé deux mois sur place pour ce projet et je montre ici certains de mes clichés.

The Association Alliance for the Protection of Asian Heritage commissioned six international photographers to edit a work on the ten emblematic places where the Buddha stayed from Lumbini in Nepal where he was born, passing through Bihar in India where he achieved enlightenment in Bodh-Gaya, to Sarnath and Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh where he gave his first teachings and where he died. These sites, 3 of which are classified by UNESCO, are among the most symbolic and most revered by the Buddhist community. I spent two months on site for this project and I show some of my photos here.​
